Job Summary
Sort soiled guestroom and food & beverage linens, fill containers, and prepare them for pick-up with accurate labeling. Fold, roll, and organize clean towels, bathrobes, and room linens into containers for distribution by floor staff. Identify and set aside misused or damaged linen for investigation, and report any foreign articles found in the chute area immediately. Assist with washing towels and linens while adhering to all health and safety protocols, including proper chemical handling and personal protective equipment use. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times. Report equipment malfunctions or potential hazards to the Supervisor promptly. Support team members and assist with additional duties as needed. Attend provided training courses and professional development sessions.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or vocational training certification
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in laundry operations or housekeeping
- Basic understanding of the English language, both written and verbal
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and handle items weighing up to 25 lbs regularly
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures consistently and accurately
- Knowledge of health and safety protocols and chemical handling best practices
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills with a collaborative mindset
- Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic
- Physical stamina and endurance for a fast-paced laundry environment
