Job Summary
Collect and sort dirty linens, towels, and rags from carts, then wash, dry, iron, and fold them as directed by management. Operate washing machines, dryers, and irons per standard, ensuring equipment is shut off at day's end. Clean dryer filters daily, sweep and mop floors, and store linens off the ground. Stock linen closets throughout the hotel and keep carts clean and debris-free. Push and pull laundry carts with weights up to 400lbs and occasionally move linens weighing up to 150lbs. Maintain composure under high-pressure situations and follow all Aimbridge Hospitality policies and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Must work well in stressful high pressure situations.
- Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
- Must be able to constantly push/pull laundry carts (empty and full) with potential weight between 50-400lbs (may vary by property).
- Must be able to occasionally pull linens from washer to dryer with potential weight between 25-150lbs (may vary by property).
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
