Laundry Assistant

Laundry Assistant needed at The Gardens at York Terrace, a skilled nursing facility in Pottsville, PA. This Part-Time role (approximately 15 hours per week) is on the Evening Shift with Every Other Weekend (EOW) and requires working 3 holidays per year and taking 3 holidays off. Responsibilities include placing soiled linens into washing machines, folding and distributing resident laundry, hanging clothing in closets, sorting/washing/drying laundry per facility procedures, maintaining a clean and organized laundry area, following infection control and safety procedures, and assisting with linen inventory and distribution throughout the facility. Candidates should have prior experience in laundry, housekeeping, cleaning, maintenance, or related fields, familiarity with laundry equipment and safety procedures, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and must be at least 18 years old.
