Laundry Assistant

Collect and sort soiled articles, inspect items for stains and color imperfections, and identify those needing special treatment. Operate washers, dryers, sewing machines, and hot seal machines to complete the laundry process. Fold, verify counts, date, store, or deliver clean clothes, table linens, and other articles for resident or staff use. Conduct inventory counts of linens, clean the laundry and chemical rooms, and maintain equipment upkeep. Distribute, handle, add, and change laundry chemicals following established safety procedures. Requires high school graduation or GED with at least one year of experience; healthcare experience preferred.
