Job Summary
Laundry Aide responsible for operating commercial washing machines and dryers, sorting and loading soiled and clean linen, transporting laundry containers, maintaining linen inventory, folding and distributing clean linen, delivering laundry, and following company policies to ensure high-quality, compassionate service for residents and their families. The role emphasizes accurate record-keeping, equipment maintenance, and safe, orderly laundry areas. Requires ability to follow written and oral instructions, work independently, be flexible and trustworthy, collaborate with residents and staff, and pass a criminal background check; prior laundry experience is a plus. Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions concerning the mixing of cleaning compounds, liquids, disinfecting solutions, etc
- Ability to work independently
- Possess flexibility, integrity, and a strong work ethic
- Ability to work effectively with the residents and personnel
- Must provide a criminal background check
- Laundry experience is a plus
