Job Summary
Collect soiled linen from all departments, sort by material and status, and wash using manufacturer-recommended soap and settings. Dry laundry appropriately, fold, and deliver to the proper departments while keeping the laundry complex clean. Report equipment malfunctions immediately to the supervisor and perform related duties as requested. Maintain a valid driver's license to operate the laundry truck. This hourly, non-exempt position at Verland's Main Campus in Sewickley requires 40 hours per shift from 10 pm to 6:30 pm Sunday through Thursday.
Required Qualifications
- Must understand and follow simple oral or written instructions
- Must be able to operate equipment in laundry
- Must be able to drive the laundry truck
- Must have all required clearances
- Must maintain a valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Formal laundry training experience preferred
