LAUNDRY AIDE

Follow the daily laundry schedule to collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, press, label, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens while operating commercial equipment safely. Properly identify and label items to prevent loss, deliver clean linens to resident rooms, stock closets and bath areas, and maintain a sanitary work environment. Clean laundry equipment according to department schedules, complete assigned weekly and monthly cleaning tasks, assist with inventory, and handle soiled laundry using Standard Precautions and infection prevention policies. Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and attend required department meetings. Assist other Environmental Services team members when needed and perform additional duties as assigned by the Laundry Coordinator or leadership.
