Job Summary
Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry in accordance with facility standards while operating equipment such as washers, dryers, and label machines. Inspect items for stains or damage and treat them as appropriate, maintaining a clean and organized laundry area. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed, assisting residents with laundry-related requests or questions. This role requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads, alongside strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Applicants must demonstrate work ethic, integrity, and competence, with previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of different fabrics and proper care instructions
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
