Job Summary
Collect and sort soiled linen, load and unload washing machines, and fold clean linen while counting daily processed amounts. Operate computer-operated washers and dryers per procedures, place clean linen in delivery carts, and deliver to assigned units. Clean and sanitize work areas, including machines, worktables, and sorting zones. This part-time role requires 2-3 years of long-term care experience, ability to lift 30 pounds, and effective communication with residents and staff. Earn over $17.60 per hour with rotating weekends, holidays, and opportunities for career advancement within LakePointe Senior Care and Rehab.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care
- You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done
- 2-3 years of experience in a long-term care, nursing home environment preferred
