Job Summary
The Laundry Aide is responsible for maintaining linen supply throughout the hospital, including ordering linen based on patient needs, operating a computer system for linen tracking, and ensuring accurate records of issued and returned linens. Key tasks include retrieving soiled linens, checking the accuracy of clean linens received, and reporting discrepancies. Strong organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively are essential, alongside a basic proficiency in computer operation.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or higher level of education.
- Strong leadership ability, good organizational skills, independent and critical thinking skills, sound judgment.
- Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience.
- Basic working knowledge of computers and office equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Healthcare setting.
