Job Summary
Laundry Aide performs general laundry and housekeeping duties to provide quality laundry service and maintain a sanitary nursing home environment. Responsibilities include preparing clean linen for residents, sorting, treating, washing, drying, folding, delivering items to resident rooms, labeling new clothing, maintaining inventory, operating laundry equipment, and following sanitary procedures. Requires ability to read directions related to laundry procedures, basic math skills, problem-solving, and 1 year of experience preferred. No certifications required.
