Job Summary
Collect and sort soiled linen, load and unload washing machines, and fold clean linen. Count daily linen processed, deliver clean laundry to assigned units, and clean and sanitize work areas including machines and sorting stations. Operate computer-operated washers and dryers according to operating procedures, sort and fold linen accurately, and place clean linen in delivery carts while pushing them to appropriate units. Requires ability to lift up to 30 pounds and follow written and verbal instructions in English. This part-time role offers rotating weekends and holidays, split shifts, and includes tuition reimbursement, medical with no deductible, and 401k with employer match.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, physicians, visitors, and all facility personnel
