Job Summary
Laundry Aide responsible for washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens, towels, and personal clothing for residents in a healthcare/long-term care setting; maintains sanitary handling, proper labeling, inventory of supplies, and collaboration with housekeeping and nursing staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items. Requires knowledge of fabric care, machine operation, attention to detail, customer-service orientation when interacting with residents and families, and adherence to infection-control guidelines. On-the-job training provided; benefits include health, 401k, PTO, and educational/reimbursement programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred but not required
