Job Summary
Ensure that work/cleaning schedules are followed and maintain assigned areas in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner. Coordinate daily laundry services with nursing services for routine cleaning in resident living and recreational areas. Follow established safety precautions when using equipment, wear required safety gear when lifting heavy objects, and keep work zones free of hazardous items. Report all accidents or incidents to your supervisor immediately. Perform regular inspections of resident rooms for sanitation, order, and safety while adhering to federal, state, and local standards. Full-time AM and PM shifts available at $16.50/hr. No experience required; on-the-job training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must possess the ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and to accept constructive criticism.
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
- Must be willing to work harmoniously with other personnel as well as be willing to handle residents based on whatever maturity level at which they are currently functioning.
