Job Summary
Laundry Aide responsibilities include maintaining a clean and sanitary facility, vacuuming and mopping floors, wiping and sanitizing bathrooms, replenishing supplies, restocking carts, reporting maintenance needs, and assisting with general housekeeping. Must follow PPE usage, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and may require weekend shifts. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; experience with cleaning tasks and housekeeping equipment is preferred. Requires collaboration with supervisor/administration to support a high-quality housekeeping department.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Bilingual English/Spanish speaking is a plus
- Knowledge of housekeeping tasks is preferred
- Must be able to physically lift up to 50lbs (and up to 50lbs movement)
- Must be able to stand for long periods and perform physical activities (lifting, bending, squatting, twisting)
- Must be available to work weekends
- Willingness to attend mandatory in-services and housekeeping department meetings
- Knowledge of housekeeping equipment preferred
