Laundry Aide - Fulltime (86994)

Perform laundry services in the Laundry Department, ensuring facilities remain clean, safe, and sanitary with adequate linen supplies for residents. Follow established schedules, fire safety policies, and laundry procedures while coordinating daily services with nursing staff. Mix chemicals and disinfectants per material safety data sheets, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment when handling infectious materials or lifting up to 25 pounds. Report accidents, incidents, and supply needs to supervisors immediately. Maintain work areas free of hazardous conditions, clean carts and equipment, and properly store supplies at shift end. During emergencies, distribute clean laundry and garments as instructed. Maintain confidentiality of resident care information and protected health information.
