Job Summary
Pick up, sort, and wash soiled linens and personal clothing while operating commercial washers and dryers. Fold, iron, label, and return clothing to appropriate locations, performing light sewing repairs as needed. Deliver clean linens to resident areas and maintain equipment and laundry area cleanliness. Follow all infection control and HIPAA policies, attend in-service trainings, and communicate professionally with residents and staff. Work the day shift Monday through Friday with every other weekend availability required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Ability to read, write, and understand basic English
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Compassion for serving seniors and a team-oriented attitude
- Every Other Weekend Availability Required
