Job Summary
Operate washing machines, dryers, and sort and fold linens while maintaining facility cleanliness and order. Monitor linen quality, report deviations to management, and ensure all employees meet resort standards. Clean equipment daily, manage linen flow, and assist with assigned projects. Handle heavy lifting and physical activity, including pushing carts weighing up to 696 pounds, especially during peak summer months from May to October. Work under strict deadlines in a fast-paced, intense environment with varied working conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to push or pull a linen cart that weighs a minimum of 240 pounds to a maximum of 696 pounds
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment
- Native American Preference will apply
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year previous Housekeeping/Laundry experience preferred
- High school diploma or its equivalent preferred
- Must understand and abide by environmental practices of the resort
