Job Summary
Collect, sort, and deliver linens; clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and hallways daily. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors while properly disposing of medical and hazardous waste. Restock supplies, use and maintain housekeeping equipment, and report maintenance needs. Engage with residents respectfully, follow infection control protocols, and assist with deep-cleaning projects. Shift runs 12P-8P with daily pay, 1.5 holiday pay, and overtime compensation. Eastern Health Group operates skilled nursing facilities and rehabilitation centers dedicated to uplifting residents and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.)
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform tasks that require manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret documents and data on a computer screen
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and other stakeholders
