Job Summary

Launch Technician for Stoke Space’s Cape Canaveral launch complex responsible for building, assembling, commissioning, and operating ground support equipment and flight-hardware integration per written instructions, CAD models, and procedures. Collaborate with engineers to identify discrepancies, troubleshoot issues in real time, document build processes for new and repeatable assemblies, and perform precision measurement and cleaning of components. Role requires 4+ years in aerospace/mechanical/construction, knowledge of process piping, pneumatic, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems, experience with FOD-intolerant components, and the ability to safely operate hazardous, high-energy systems. Must have experience with lockout/tagout, hot work, confined-space permits, rigging and lifting, and operating heavy equipment, with the ability to work second shift and weekends and relocate to Cape Canaveral, FL. ITAR-based employment restrictions apply; U.S. citizenship or eligible work status required. Includes medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, PTO, flexible scheduling, and equity. Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in aerospace, mechanical, or construction environments
  • Knowledge of building, assembling, testing, and operating process piping, pneumatic, mechanical, hydraulic, and/or electrical systems
  • Hands-on experience with assembling and operating FOD-intolerant service components and systems
  • Ability to safely operate hazardous systems, including high-energy, pressure, temperature, and high-power systems
  • Experience in lockout/tagout (LOTO), hot work permits, confined space permits, rigging, & lifting
  • Skilled in handling delicate and high-value assemblies
  • Experience in operating heavy equipment including reach-lifts and aerial lifts
  • Ability to work second shift and weekends as required
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs. unassisted
  • Able to stand for extended periods
  • Able to stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain & maintain military installation access including DBIDS
  • Willing relocate to Cape Canaveral, FL
