Job Summary
Senior Manufacturing Director to lead all production-related functions at a Latvia-based plant outside Riga, driving Lean transformation and world-class efficiency, safety, and quality. Responsibilities include leading manufacturing, warehousing, maintenance, factory services, and production administration; managing 7 production administrators and 35+ factory employees; ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery; driving OEE, yield, waste/rework reduction, and productivity; co-leading equipment purchasing, maintenance, and layout optimization; collaborating with CFO on operating budgets (>€2M); delivering progress reports to the CEO; leading Lean implementation and continuous improvement; operating in a matrix structure with Planning & Efficiency Director; key KPIs include safety, quality, rework and waste, OEE, production costs, and plan accuracy/conformance; requires 5+ years in operations leadership, a Bachelor’s degree (engineering), English fluency, and Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt if possible.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in operations management or technical manufacturing leadership
- Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering preferred); Master’s degree a plus
- Proven experience managing budgets > €2M
- Lean / Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills in English; Latvian/Russian a plus
- Hands-on leadership style — leading by example
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-moving environment
