Job Summary
Assist in the maintenance and changeover of Lathe machines to ensure product quality. Responsibilities include machine cleaning, inspection of parts, and managing scrap. Must have high school diploma or equivalent and desire to learn new skills. Forklift experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or FED or equivalent work experience
- Desire to learn new skills and abilities due to production and deadline
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to perform computations
- Ability to work with minimum supervision to meet customer delivery requirements
- Ability to organize and make work-related decisions based on deadlines and customer specifications
- Occasional lifting and carrying not to exceed 40lbs
- Manual dexterity and repetitive movement of fingers and hands
Desired Qualifications
- Experience machining or a technical trade
- Forklift/Reach experience and ability
- Ability to obtain a forklift license if needed
Additional Requirements
- This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the ability to access and handle ITAR Technical Data as defined by 22 CFR § 120.33 is an essential function.
