Job Summary
Lathe Machinist responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC and manual lathes to machine precision components. Reads and understands blueprints/isometric drawings and work orders; follows safety practices; identifies tools/materials; sets up equipment; performs CNC editing on the shop floor; works with CNC Lathe and Manual Lathe, Mill/Lathe operation, and safety compliance. Location on-site in Mount Vernon, WA. Eligible for shift differential ($2 swing shift, $3 weekend day shift) and potential discretionary bonus and benefits; requires eligibility for U.S. security clearance as this is a federal government contractor role.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- 1 year of machining experience required
- Must be able to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required); Special Access Program or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position and requires candidate agreed to enter a Continuous Evaluation program.
