Lathe Department Lead - 2nd Shift

Job Summary
Lead the Lathe Department on the 2nd shift, overseeing lathes production, assigning machine and job tasks to machinists, monitoring performance to meet quality, productivity, and on-time-delivery goals; supervise staff, troubleshoot during setup and production, set up and run CNC machines as needed, train staff on proper operation, document performance and conduct reviews, communicate data to drive continual improvement, and ensure compliance with 5S and safety policies while coordinating with Maintenance and QA.
Required Qualifications
- Prior CNC Machining and Set-Up Experience
- Experience supervising staff
- Ability to read blueprints and perform inspections
- Familiarity with ERP systems and Shop Travelers
- Knowledge of 5S and PPE requirements
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Willingness to perform preventive maintenance and coordinate with Maintenance
