LATAM OPEX Manager

Job Summary
Establish and own a common LATAM OPEX framework, KPIs, and maturity standards aligned with global practices. Balance FPMP needs across the region and drive consistent deployment of Lean, TPM, and daily management systems. Lead rapid replication of best practices to reduce scrap, downtime, and changeover times while coordinating regional kaizen events. Develop and coach plant-level Continuous Improvement Leaders, building a structured capability pipeline to reduce dependency on individual champions. Review monthly trends, participate in financial management calls, and support plants in transforming opportunities into executable action plans. Fluent in English and Spanish with 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree
- 5 years minimum leadership experience in manufacturing
- Proven experience as a Plant Continuous Improvement Leader (PIL) or Operational Excellence Manager within a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, TPM, structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., A3, Six Sigma, Kaizen), and daily management systems
- Track record of deploying standardized frameworks and KPIs across multiple manufacturing sites
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- Willingness and ability to travel regularly across LATAM manufacturing sites (15-20%)

- Polished presentation, business acumen and facilitation skills
- Strategic and systems thinking — able to translate global OPEX standards into a coherent regional framework
- Strong influencing and matrix-leadership skills, driving change without direct line authority over plant teams
- Data-driven mindset with strong benchmarking, analytical, and performance-tracking capability
