Job Summary
Coordinate flow for communication between haulers, delivery teams, flatbed drivers, the call center, and local client management teams. Maintain on-site presence on a daily, weekly, or bi-weekly basis to ensure procedures are followed. Oversee recruiting, processing, and performance of haulers while developing and maintaining vendor relations. Ensure follow-up on shipping discrepancies, damaged goods, and in-home damage claims. Interface with end customers to ensure effective in-home delivery and maintain monthly operation reports including statistics and customer service scores. Weekend availability is required.
Required Qualifications
- Weekend availability
- Last Mile management experience
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Excellent mathematical skills, with the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume
- Ability to analyze technical and scientific journals as they pertain to the business and market
- Strong problem solving and reasoning abilities to deal with a variety of problems and come up with creative solutions
