Job Summary
Last Mile Delivery Driver responsible for the final delivery and installation of Base Power battery systems to residential and business addresses. Duties include operating a 26ft box truck with a passenger team member, loading products, driving routes, installing ground-mounted battery systems, and logging delivery details in the in-house app. Key tasks involve delivering to addresses safely and on time, using equipment like electric pallet jacks and dollies, stacking batteries, completing light assembly, system commissioning via the app, interacting professionally with members, site clean-up, route management to hit delivery windows, vehicle upkeep and basic maintenance checks, recording delivery information in the delivery app, assisting with loading/unloading, conducting truck cycle counts, and following all safety protocols. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be able to pass a DOT physical, and be able to lift 50+ lbs; willingness to learn new apps and tech platforms; comfortable working outdoors year-round; and able to work with team members on-site to ensure timely and accurate installations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a DOT physical
- Experience driving box trucks, vans, or commercial vehicles preferred
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with members
- Able to learn and use apps, systems, and tech platforms
- Able to lift and carry 50+ lbs
- Comfortable navigating routes using GPS or mapping software
- Self-directed and reliable in a fast-paced environment
- Basic vehicle maintenance knowledge
- Able to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
