Job Summary
Laser Tracker Operator responsible for verifying that manufactured and purchased parts conform to drawings using laser trackers and CMM arms; create programs for Laser Tracker from part drawings and CAD models; create dimensional inspection reports from gathered data and document non-conformance; provide layouts and assistance with fitting on requested assemblies; verify that final assemblies meet dimensional requirements per drawings; reports to the Quality Supervisor; requires 2-3 years of experience, Spatial Analyzer proficiency, GD&T knowledge, and familiarity with AS9100/ISO 9001; ability to stand for long periods and work >40 hours weekly; high school or equivalent education; strong technical communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 Years’ Experience
- Must have at least 1 years’ experience using Spatial Analyzer
- Must have a good knowledge of inspection methods, procedures, equipment, and layouts
- Must have a good understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Must have good technical communication skills
- Ability to stand continuously for long periods of time
- Willing to work in excess of 40 hours a week
- High school or equivalent
