Job Summary
Laser Operator role on the weekend night shift. Responsibilities include setting up and operating laser cutting machines, interpreting blueprints/CAD files, and using CNC programming to optimize cutting. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment, verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers, and handle materials with forklifts. Collaborate with fabrication, assembly, and quality control teams to meet production deadlines, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and document production data for quality assurance and process improvement. Requires strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality; previous experience operating laser cutting machines in manufacturing/fabrication environments; knowledge of CNC controls, PLCs, blueprints, and automation; basic math skills; familiarity with materials handling equipment.
