Laser Operator

Job Summary
Operate laser machines to manufacture parts per plant specification in an accurate and timely manner. Load and unload materials, follow process instructions, process documentation for completed work, and collaborate across shifts. Perform basic maintenance (cleaning machines, dust collector, grease points) and participate in shift-to-shift handoffs. Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and sanitation regulations in a factory environment with exposure to fumes, moving parts, and loud conditions. Requires reading blueprints/work orders, measurement with micrometers/calipers, and strong mathematical and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years relevant experience or equivalent
- Ability to read and understand work orders and blueprints
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
- Effective written and oral communication
