Job Summary
Set up, program, and operate laser cutting machines for stainless steel tubing while interpreting blueprints and adjusting settings for precision cuts. Inspect finished parts for quality and dimensional accuracy, perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting, and load/unload materials safely. Maintain production records and collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes. Follow all safety procedures and company policies in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring standing and lifting up to 50 lbs. Salary range $23-$25 with a sign-on bonus available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience operating CNC or laser cutting machines
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Attendance on a regular, consistent basis
Desired Qualifications
- Technical training
- Experience with stainless steel tubing and tube laser cutting
- Proficiency in machine programming (G-code, CAD/CAM software, or similar)
- Experience with tube laser systems (e.g., BLM, Mazak, Trumpf, or similar)
- Familiarity with nesting software and production optimization
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
- Forklift or material handling experience
