Job Summary
Operate CNC laser processing machines in a high-precision medical device manufacturing environment. Follow SOPs to meet part specifications, perform daily equipment maintenance, load programs from ERP/database, and conduct first piece and in-process inspections using measurement tools (micrometer, caliper, optical comparator, etc.). Maintain clean, safe work area, monitor machine performance for discrepancies, and communicate with shifts, technical leaders, and supervisors. Perform secondary operations such as cleaning parts/work areas and assist others as needed. Requires 1–3 years of experience in a small device manufacturing environment and good manual dexterity; HS diploma or equivalent; experience with Lasag, Kohler, Coherent/Rofin, or IPG lasers is helpful. Shift: M-F 7:00 AM-3:15 PM. Location: Franklin, MA. Salary: $17-$19/hour (annualized $35,360–$39,520). Education, experience, and tools supporting precision manufacturing are emphasized, with on-the-job training and advancement opportunities.
