Job Summary
Check travelers for due dates, material types, and special requests before operating ESI and Lumonics machines to drill PCB boards. Inspect products using microscopes and micrometers, checking for debris, burrs, and missing holes after drilling. Log job status on ProCim software and complete Non-Conforming Material Reports for rejected items. Perform daily machine maintenance and housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment. Inform managers of potential problems and assist in achieving zero scrap per month. Requires graveyard shift flexibility from 10:30 PM to 7 AM.
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office using Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Previous experience and knowledge of laser drilling machines
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds maximum
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the day
- Ability to follow procedures and maintain quality of products at all time
- Ability to perform at the highest level in a fast-paced environment
- Must be flexible
- Graveyard (3rd shift) Monday - Friday 10:30PM - 7AM
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 2-6 years experience in laser drilling for PCB Manufacturing Company
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Exceptional multi-tasking, organizational skills, strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of management
- Self-motivator and a sense of ownership and urgency
- Ability to maintain confidentiality & professionalism at all times
