Job Summary
Operate automated CNC tube laser cutting equipment, monitor machine performance to maximize efficiency, and load raw materials to ensure continuous production. Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, read blueprints, and make machine adjustments to maintain standards. Sort, package, and prepare products for shipment while identifying non-conforming material and completing production records. Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area. This role requires a Friday-Sunday schedule from 6:00am-6:00pm or 6:00pm-6:00am with pay up to $28.00/hr plus shift premiums. Candidates need experience with CNC production equipment and strong blueprint reading skills.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating CNC production equipment, including tube lasers, flat lasers, plasma, or oxy-fuel cutting tables
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Understanding of tolerances, dimensions, and precision manufacturing
- Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to complete a drug screen
- Must be able to complete a physical examination
- Must be able to complete a background check
