Job Summary
Set up and operate laser cutting machines to produce products meeting customer quality requirements, including program retrieval, gas selection, and nozzle adjustments. Monitor machine performance, diagnose machining problems, and modify operations as needed while navigating a Windows-based environment and nesting software. Operate overhead cranes and use measuring tools to ensure close tolerances, checking product quality and notifying supervisors of process issues. Perform operator maintenance, 5S housekeeping, and adhere to safety procedures within the fabrication shop. Requires understanding of the Epicor ERP system. Full-time work with overtime expected per business needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Good attendance
- Ability to use basic math to analyze information and measuring equipment
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work safely and efficiently
- Ability to work with close tolerance
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instruction and written processes
- Additional courses in CNC set-up and operation
- Full-time work
- Overtime
- Sunday - Thursday onsite
