Laser Operator 2nd shift

Job Summary
The Laser Operator will be responsible for machine start-up, maintenance, and operation including cleaning, aligning, and focusing, as well as measuring and setting up materials. Key tasks involve creating programs, maintaining safety and quality standards, and retrieving raw materials. Ideal candidates will have strong skills in blueprint reading, computer proficiency, problem-solving, and attention to detail. The position requires constant physical activity with exposure to manufacturing noise and dust, necessitating the use of personal protective equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Perform machine start-up, warm-up and shut down operations
- Select, measure, assemble, and set machine using precision gauges and instruments
- Modify technology tables, perform import/call up program
- Create nests/programs to be run on the laser machines
- Identify preventative maintenance points
- Position and secure work piece on machine bed
- Calculate and set machine controls to position tools
- Monitor machine operation and control panel displays
- Retrieve raw material and move finished parts

Additional Requirements
