Job Summary
Operate manufacturing laser machines, including Pattern, Laser cutting, and Metalizing/Coating equipment, by loading steel and plastic sheets and unstacking finished parts. Set up machines, inspect and trim parts to customer specifications, and pack according to instructions while maintaining accurate part counts and recording scrap data. Remove parts from conveyors, trim or mill as needed, and report discrepancies to supervisors. Participate in Lean events, review previous shift production, and contact technicians for quality issues. Maintain safety standards and operate forklifts, hoists, and cranes. Work the 2nd shift (2:48pm-11:00pm) or 3rd shift (10:48pm-7:00am) with competitive pay based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate
- One year related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Ability to use a forklift, hoist, and crane and know the correct procedure to operate each
- Must be available for 2nd shift: 2:48pm-11:00pm
- Must be available for 3rd shift: 10:48pm-7:00am
