Job Summary
Perform Laser Inspection in support of product conformance and generate inspection data packages. Present product and data packages to customer source inspectors. Assist manufacturing in verifying assembly and ensure product conformity and safety. Utilize VERISURF, Catia, and MasterCam for inspection planning and data generation; interpret blueprints and customer requirements; maintain QMS procedures; collaborate with production to support inspection schedules; second shift in South El Monte, CA; communicate findings to internal customers and contribute to quality assurance and compliance with ITAR requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 3+ years' experience in inspecting machine parts and assemblies using LASER technology and practices
- 3+ years' experience in laser inspection
- 3+ years' experience working with Customer Source Inspectors
- Working knowledge of VERISURF software
- Working knowledge of Catia modeling software
- Working knowledge of MasterCam
- Proficiency in reading blueprints/models and interpreting customer requirements/specifications
- Knowledge of QMS and data/record-keeping procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers
Additional Requirements
- U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card), refugee or asylee or eligible to obtain required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State (ITAR compliance)
