Job Summary
Operate laser engraving equipment to apply serial numbers, part markings, and identification information to precision components. Load/unload and position parts in fixtures to ensure accurate engraving, verify requirements against engineering drawings and production orders, perform visual and dimensional inspections, monitor machine performance, and communicate issues. Maintain traceability records and support continuous improvement. Requires 2+ years of manufacturing experience, ability to read work instructions and drawings, attention to detail, basic computer skills, and willingness to work 1st shift for training before transitioning to 2nd shift with a 5% shift differential; OT may be required. Emphasis on quality, safety, and adherence to ITAR/EAR compliance in a manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, inspection, or other hands-on production experience
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, production orders, and basic engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
- Basic computer skills and ability to enter production data and review electronic work instructions
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn equipment operation and manufacturing processes
- Ability to use basic measuring and inspection equipment such as calipers, rulers, gauges
- Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing production requirements
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Demonstrated reliability and commitment to quality
- OT availability
