Job Summary
A Carpenter constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures using wood, metal, and other materials, adhering to local building codes. Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, selecting materials, preparing layouts, applying measurements, assembling materials, and ensuring the quality of constructed products. Carpenters should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects and working at heights, while maintaining accuracy in their work.
