Job Summary
Lead enterprise development and investment-readiness activities for the Green Value for Growth programme, overseeing business advisory services to SMEs and large agribusinesses in Mozambique. Guide clients through investment processes, including business planning, financial analysis, and investor engagement, while strengthening operations and inclusive sourcing strategies. Manage a multidisciplinary team of business advisors, consultants, and external technical assistance providers to deliver high-quality programme delivery. Collaborate with private sector partners, investors, and government stakeholders to facilitate access to capital and expand market systems. Contribute to programme planning, reporting, and adaptive management to achieve targets for the five-year EU initiative.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree
- at least 7 years of relevant experience
- at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in agribusiness
- Experience in private sector development
- Experience in management consulting
- Experience in investment
- Experience in donor-funded economic development programmes
- Demonstrated experience supporting business growth
- Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise development
- Demonstrated experience supporting investment readiness
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in Portuguese
- Fluency in English
- Up to 50% travel
- Strong commercial and financial analysis skills
