Job Summary
Support senior solicitors and partners with a significant caseload of complex defendant catastrophic injury claims from motor insurance clients. Demonstrate a creative and innovative approach to defending claims while assisting clients in devising key strategies. Ensure personal legal knowledge remains up to date and communicate new advancements to the wider team. Maintain a proven track record of excellence in defending motor claims, working effectively alone or as part of a team. This full-time, permanent role reports directly to the Head of Insurance Litigation and is based at the firm's Birmingham offices.
Required Qualifications
- NQ solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives, or experienced Large Loss Solicitors
- experience of personal injury work within motor insurance claims
- between 1-5 years' experience in large loss work in the insurance litigation arena
- excellent client care and communication skills
- sound knowledge of IT systems and processes, such as the Microsoft suite
- ability to work cohesively as part of a larger team
- proven track record of excellence in defending motor claims
- creative and innovative approach to dealing with claims
- ability to work effectively alone or as a part of a team
