Job Summary
Large Loss Field Property Adjuster based in Salt Lake City, UT. Travel to customers’ homes to conduct on-site inspections, investigate coverage, prepare estimates, and settle claims promptly for large-scale fire and water losses. Also handles virtual claims countrywide using Xactimate and ClaimsX Video Collaboration. Roles include customer service, investigation of policy coverage, detailed damage reviews, negotiation of settlements, and meticulous documentation in claims systems. Training is provided; licensing may be required within 60 days of hire; may be eligible for a licensing sign-on bonus and company car per guidelines. Must be able to travel, carry ladders, and work in a field environment.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years’ previous experience as an outside adjuster
- Experience handling claims with multiple trades and over $100,000 in losses
- Proficiency in using Xactimate and other relevant software for estimating
- Strong critical thinking and technical skills to assess damages accurately and expedite claims settlements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service
- Ability to travel to customers' homes and handle virtual claims countrywide effectively
