Job Summary
Handle escalated claims files involving complex contents damage by conducting thorough coverage investigations and using advanced video technology to collaborate with onsite vendors for accurate damage identification and estimating. Communicate empathetically with customers to guide them through the claim process, negotiate settlements with customers and third-party carriers in accordance with business standards, and coordinate with structure and ALE adjusters for holistic file management. Utilize data analytics to influence decision-making while maintaining clear, accurate documentation in the claims system. This role requires rotational weekend duty and independent field or remote work, supported by comprehensive training and ongoing mentoring.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel as part of the job requirements
- Residency within the posted location is mandatory
- Adjuster and/or appraiser license (must be obtained within 60 days of hire if required by office/area)
- Termination of all existing insurance license appointments prior to onboarding
- Surrender of resident producer license if currently held
- Acknowledgment and agreement to comply with licensing requirements

- 3+ years of previous experience handling property insurance claims
- Prior experience using estimating software like Xactimate for complex contents estimating
