Job Summary
Operate and maintain forklifts and pallet jacks to move large and bulky items; receive, unload, and inspect shipments for quantity, quality, and damage; sort, stage, and store large items in designated warehouse locations; pick, pack, and prepare large items for outbound shipping; maintain a clean and organized work area; report equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies to management.
Required Qualifications
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery for large items
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming large item shipments for quantity, quality, and damage
- Accurately sort, stage, and store large items in designated warehouse locations, optimizing space utilization
- Pick, pack, and prepare large items for outbound shipping according to customer orders and company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area within the large item department
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or inventory discrepancies to management promptly
