Job Summary
Group-focused sales role developing and managing Humana’s ancillary and group insurance opportunities within a designated region. Responsible for discovering, developing and maintaining benefits brokerage relationships; delivering organized presentations tying solutions to business needs; negotiating complex deals; expanding cross-sell opportunities; collaborating with internal/external partners; managing a sales process start-to-finish from prospecting to enrollment; and achieving production objectives through consultative selling, strategic planning, and broker development across assigned markets. Requires travel within the territory, a valid state license (health and life), and the ability to cultivate relationships with brokers and consultants to drive new business, retention, and revenue growth. Proficiency in presenting solutions, managing multiple stakeholder discussions, CRM usage, and staying current on Humana’s product portfolios is expected.
Required Qualifications
- Valid State Health and Life insurance licenses
- 3 years’ experience selling Group Insurance
- Experience building relationships with brokers and consultants
- Executive presence
- Business and Financial Acumen
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
