Job Summary
Lead the Large & Production Animal Service within the UQ VETS Veterinary Teaching Hospital at Gatton, delivering high-quality, relationship-centred veterinary care across hospital and ambulatory settings while managing a diverse clinical caseload and contributing to after-hours and on-call services. Drive clinical leadership, teaching, mentoring and supervision of students, interns, and junior clinicians; oversee workforce planning, staff development, and service improvement; engage with clients and stakeholders to foster partnerships and growth; participate in hospital governance and professional development activities; and uphold veterinary standards, training, and ethical practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (or equivalent) with eligibility for veterinary registration in Queensland
- ANZCVS Membership (or equivalent) or at least four years’ experience in general practice, large animal medicine
