Job Summary
Laravel & React Engineer for fully remote, Latin America–based engagement. The role requires 6+ years building web applications with 5+ years in Laravel (PHP 8+) and React (TypeScript, Vite, MUI), plus hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (design and query optimization) and AWS deployments (ECS Fargate, RDS, S3, SES, CloudWatch) and AWS Cognito integration. Candidate will contribute to multiple projects across a digital agency, collaborating in an agile environment, and must communicate effectively in English. The position is fully remote, long-term, full-time, with compensation in US Dollars; agencies or C2C are not solicited.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience developing web applications
- 5+ years of experience with Laravel (PHP 8+) (APIs, middleware, Nova admin, testing)
- 5+ years of experience with React (TypeScript, Vite, MUI)
- Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
- Experience with AWS (ECS Fargate, RDS, S3, SES, CloudWatch) deployments and security
- Experience integrating AWS Cognito authentication (front-end/back-end integration, cookies)
- Strong agile/scrum development experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
