Job Summary
Review teacher lesson plans upon arrival and deliver core instruction in French, Mandarin, or Spanish classes for grades Preschool through 5th. Follow provided lesson plans, manage student behavior using AXIS protocols, and adhere to lunch, recess, and SEL schedules. Take attendance at 8:05 am and 12:35 pm, completing tasks independently of the regular classroom teacher. Perform additional duties as requested by the Principal to support the school's educational goals. This on-call, part-time position includes retirement benefits through the Colorado Public Employee Retirement Association. Partner language substitutes must possess basic proficiency in French, Mandarin, or Spanish.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- CDE Substitute Authorization

- Ability to reflect upon teaching practices and respond to constructive feedback
- Proven willingness and ability to collaborate with a diverse community of colleagues, parents/guardians and community members
- Basic proficiency in French, Mandarin, or Spanish
