Language Arts Teacher - Riverdale High School

Plan a program of study meeting diverse student needs, establish curriculum objectives, and create a conducive learning environment. Guide the learning process toward curriculum goals while employing appropriate instructional methods and materials. Assess student accomplishments regularly, diagnose learning strengths and weaknesses, and counsel with colleagues, students, and parents. Counsel with colleagues, students, and/or parents on a regular basis. Assist administration in implementing policies governing student life, develop classroom behavior rules, and maintain order. Plan and supervise assignments for support personnel and volunteers. Use appropriate technology, maintain accurate records, and perform Medicaid administrative claims. Recognize indicators of student distress or abuse and take appropriate action. Establish a secure testing environment.
